Big Y is Coming to Pembroke

Big Y Foods has announced plans to open a new store in Pembroke at 24 Mattakeesett Street in early June. The 38,000-square-foot store, located in Pembroke Plaza, will occupy the space vacated by Stop & Shop in 2024.

The Pembroke location is part of Big Y’s continued regional expansion, which also includes new stores in Fairhaven and North Dartmouth.

Big Y employs more than 10,000 people across its supermarkets, Table & Vine liquor stores, and Big Y Express fuel stations. The family-owned company has been recognized by Forbes as a Best-in-State Employer in Massachusetts and Connecticut for seven consecutive years.
